Nature.

Breathe, turn inward,

Look.

Look closer.

Something starts happening.

Witness.

Feel the feelings,

Respond to the sensation,

Stay longer, climb inside it.

Sound cradle, warm light,

I am in my body as I hear the machines.

Open sky,

Earth portal,

Inner being.

Breath of my breath, sky-breath fluffs my ears and whistles in the branches. The pain within me is loud, interrupted by the sound of a plane. I lift my face to the sun and see only red behind my eyes. The helicopter gets louder. There is a genocide going on in Palestine y’know. Tuk tuk tuk. I watch it fly into the sun. When I hear the sound again I dive underground.
